CIHC Members include people affiliated with interprofessional projects, health organizations, health educators, researchers, students, patients/public, health professionals and international partners.
Anyone interested in becoming a CIHC member or becoming active in our committees and working groups is welcome to join at no charge by contacting CIHC.
The CIHC Secretariat provides overall leadership and management of the Collaborative and is housed within the College of Health Disciplines at the University of British Columbia.
The CIHC Steering Committee advises and guides the efforts of the CIHC. Membership includes representation from the interprofessional learning projects, NaHSSA and Health Canada.CIHC's Sub-committees coordinate our core activities. These sub-committees include CIHC members who have expressed an interest in moving the CIHC agenda forward in specific areas of interest to them. All sub-committees welcome new members. National Health Sciences Students’ Association (NaHSSA) was the first national interprofessional student association in the world. NaHSSA seeks to involve Canada’s health and human service students in interprofessional education while promoting the attitudes, skills and behaviours necessary to provide collaborative patient-centred care.
