Standards

The AIPHE Principles and Implementation Guide was developed to provide accreditation agencies with sample standards, criteria, examples of evidence and explanatory notes, as they move to implement interprofessional standards for their own profession. Each accreditation agency may find different components of the guide to be more applicable to them, given the different approaches organizations take to the development and implementation of accreditation standards. The guide also provides links to resources and references that will assist education programs that need to make curricular changes that support the interprofessional education standards. It also has a glossary of terms and an outline of professional, entry-level credentials for the six professions involved in AIPHE.

Examples of Standards and Examples of Evidence are one of the ways the Implementation Guide may assist professions to embed interprofessional education into their national accreditation programs.
