As the CIHC identifies the best approaches to achieving interprofessional education and collaborative practice Canada-wide, subsequent changes to health professions curricula (pre and post-licensure) are necessary. The work of the CIHC Curricula Committee centers around studying and learning how current curricula relates to students/learners, health educators, health providers, and patients/families.
During early 2009, the Competencies Working Group, led by Carole Orchard and Lesley Bainbridge is coordinating a National Interprofessional Competency Framework. For more information on this work, please contact Carole Orchard or Lesley Bainbridge.
