The CIHC Library is a key component of the CIHC toolkit.

The CIHC Research & Evaluation Committee's mandate is to strengthen and mobilize research and evaluation capacity in interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

Activities include:

  1. Cultivating a community of practice of researchers and evaluators, including a network of student researchers;
  2. Identifying and sharing leading approaches to research and evaluation;
  3. Setting the direction for future IP research;
  4. Promoting interprofessional education and interprofessional practice;
  5. Identifying and considering information needs of end users regarding quality evidence (with Partnerships & Knowledge Exchange Committee;
  6. Promoting use of existing CIHC infrastructure for efficient exchange of current research and evaluation information (for example, CIHC Library.

Interested in Getting Involved?

The R&E committee is focusing on three major objectives:
  1. Strengthen research and education methodologies used for IPE/CP (interprofessional education and/or collaborative practice) by promoting reliable and valid tools and standardized approaches.
  2. Strengthen evidence on IPE/CP by conducting applied multi-site research.
  3. Facilitate linkages between researchers, health providers, and students.
